Members of the Men's Association meet every Thursday morning for a game of golf. One of our members volunteers to do the pairings each week. There is a small entrance fee for each game, as well as a chance to get in on the closest to the pin competition.
The Sandbaggers play on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. This group operates somewhat the same way as the Men's Association.
The Men's Association functions under a set of by-laws estalished at an annual meeting held in December. We sponsor three tournaments a year; the Championship Tournament, Govenors Match Play (full handicap) and a 2-Man Competition Elimination (combined handicap must be over 30). There is a sign up sheet in the men's locker room for each week's competition.
The Men's Association has a set of officers; President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Association meets four times a year to discuss complaints, suggestions, requests, upcoming events, etc.
Membership dues are $15.00/year. There is an additional $5.00 fee to participate in the Hole-in-One Club. If you get a hole in one, you receive chits good for one drink, which is redeemable at the clubhouse restaurant/bar. The amount of chits received equal the number of participants. You must be playing with a member for the hole in one to qualify.
Membership is open to all males 18 years or older. You must establish a handicap either by transferring from another club or by turning in scorecards for a minimum of 5 rounds on this course. Rounds must be played with a member.
There is a $25.00/year fee payable to Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club to record and maintain your handicap in the GHIN system.
